The Skyborne, or shen’dorei, are a new playable race with roots in wind and ancient Highborne history. Choose Horde or Alliance at character creation and begin your story on Zephras Isle.

Where Do the Skyborne Start?

Their level 1–12 journey begins on Zephras Isle. The wind spirits protecting the island have vanished, leaving its communities divided as ancient structures begin to fail.

Skyborne Racial Abilities

Ability	Who gets it	Effect
Walk on Air	Both	Glide downward for 10 seconds.
Wind Blessed	Both	1% increased melee, ranged, and spellcasting Haste.
Elemental Insight	Both	5% increased damage to Elementals.
Skysight	Horde Windshaper	Elemental Blessing increases run speed by 10%.
Read Ley Line	Alliance High Order	Activate a ley line for 100% increased Health and Mana regeneration.

Skyborne Appearance and Customization

Choose from hairstyles, skin tones, eye colors, ear lengths, feathers, tattoos, and other details. Skyborne also have unique voices and a new /dance emote.

Skyborne Druid Forms

Skyborne Druids receive race-specific Bear, Cat, Moonkin, and Travel forms. Select an image to view it at full size.

Can Skyborne join either faction?

Yes. Choose a Horde Windshaper or Alliance High Order Skyborne at character creation.

Can Skyborne be Shamans or Mages?

Horde Windshapers can be Shamans. Alliance High Order Skyborne can be Mages.

Where do Skyborne begin?

On Zephras Isle, a level 1–12 starting experience in WoW Forever.
