Midsummer world event

What a long strange trip it’s been!

The Midsummer Fire Festival is a joyous celebration that commemorates the summer solstice in the World of Warcraft universe. During this festive event, players can partake in various activities such as lighting bonfires, dancing around colorful poles, and engaging in quests that span across Azeroth. These quests not only honor their own faction’s flames but also provide opportunities to steal the flames of rival cities, adding a competitive twist to the festivities. Each major city features a dedicated festival area where players can engage in quests, enjoy lively Ribbon Pole dances, and take advantage of hour-long buffs to aid in their adventures. Additionally, valuable stat food is available for purchase, and an exciting encounter with Ahune awaits, offering coveted Level 80 Frostscythe of Lord Ahune and epic cloaks with an item level of 232.

By completing the achievement The Flame Keeper, players not only earn the esteemed title of Flame Keeper, but also make progress toward the meta-achievement “What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been.” This meta-achievement serves as a grand culmination, rewarding players with the prestigious Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake mount.
