Choosing between the Aldor and Scryer factions determines your reputation rewards, shoulder enchants, and long-term progression in Outland. How to Start the Aldor or Scryer Choice
- Speak with the Haggard War Veteran in Shattrath City
- Follow him during the City of Light quest tour
- Speak with A’dal in the center of Shattrath
- Speak with Khadgar to complete the introduction
- Choose to align with either the Aldor or the Scryer
This choice unlocks faction-specific quests, vendors, and shoulder enchants that will remain important throughout TBC Classic. While it is possible to switch later, doing so requires a significant reputation grind.
