Blizzard has issued a hotfix for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic to address an exploit involving the Albino Snake and Meteorite Crystal items. Players were able to stack the MP5 buff from Meteorite Crystal instantly by repeatedly summoning and dismissing the Albino Snake after using the trinket.
While the blue post announcing the hotfix was somewhat ambiguous, Enhancement Shamans and other melee classes who use the Albino Snake for their weapon swing timers do not need to worry, as that functionality has not been changed.
However, some players have discovered that the Find Fish spell can also be used to stack the MP5 buff from Meteorite Crystal, even after the hotfix.
