Today, players have observed the introduction of two fresh Hardcore Realms: Skull Rock, situated in the Pacific time zone, and Defias Pillager, located in the Eastern time zone. These realm names unmistakably reference two infamously perilous regions for players of both the Horde and Alliance factions during Hardcore leveling experiences:

Skull Rock is a famous cave located in Durotar, the host of a self-titled quest: Skull Rock for Horde.
Defias Pillager, perhaps even more famous, is a mob located in Westfall, notoriously known as low-level killers with their high damage fire spells. Even in Vanilla WoW they were feared among the masses.
As of right now, these are the two NA Hardcore realms we’ve been made aware of. 2 days to go until Hardcore launch!
