New WoW Classic Plus Clue: Project Camelot Testing Expands

Another potential WoW Classic Plus clue has emerged as Blizzard distributes the latest encrypted Project Camelot build across multiple internal testing environments.

On July 31, the mysterious WoW 1.60 build was updated from version 1.60.0.69014 to 1.60.0.69075 on one internal server. Just over an hour later, that exact build appeared on another environment known as WOW Dev Five.

What is the mysterious WoW 1.60 build?

The encrypted 1.60 build has reportedly been connected to Project Camelot, an unannounced Warcraft project that many players believe could be Blizzard’s long-awaited Classic Plus. Blizzard has not officially revealed what Camelot is or confirmed that it is related to Classic Plus.

What could the latest Project Camelot movement mean?

Placing the same build on multiple internal environments could indicate expanded quality-assurance testing, access for additional development teams, or preparation for a larger testing phase. It is especially noteworthy following Camelot’s recent—and brief—appearance on a Blizzard vendor CDN.

However, this movement does not confirm that a Classic Plus alpha or beta is imminent. It also does not confirm that Project Camelot will be revealed at BlizzCon 2026.

What it does show is that Blizzard continues to actively update and distribute the mysterious 1.60 project. The next major signal would be another vendor deployment, a dedicated beta or PTR entry, background-download data, or an unencrypted build.

The latest encrypted build can be followed through the BlizzTrack build tracker.
