How to Get Attuned to Hyjal Summit in TBC Classic Phase 3

Hyjal Summit attunement in TBC Classic Phase 3 requires completing The Vials of Eternity, a quest offered by Soridormi inside the Caverns of Time. To complete the attunement, players must defeat Lady Vashj in Serpentshrine Cavern and Kael’thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep: The Eye.

This guide walks you through every step required to unlock Mount Hyjal, including where to pick up the quest, how to obtain both vial remnants, and what rewards you unlock after attuning.

Important: In TBC Classic Anniversary Edition, attunements are account-wide, meaning you only need to complete this process once for your account.

The Vials of Eternity Quest

To begin the Hyjal Summit attunement process in TBC Classic, players must first reach Revered with the Keepers of Time faction. Once Revered, travel to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris and speak with Soridormi, who patrols around the central area near the raid portals.

Soridormi offers the quest The Vials of Eternity, which requires players to retrieve two important quest items: Vashj’s Vial Remnant from Lady Vashj in Serpentshrine Cavern and Kael’s Vial Remnant from Kael’thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep: The Eye.

If Soridormi is not standing at the exact location shown on your map, circle around the Caverns of Time hub area until you find her patrol path.

Where to Get the Vial Remnants

The first quest item required for Hyjal Summit attunement is Vashj’s Vial Remnant, which drops from Lady Vashj, the final boss of Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC). Serpentshrine Cavern is a 25-player raid located inside Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh.

The second quest item is Kael’s Vial Remnant, obtained from Kael’thas Sunstrider, the final boss of Tempest Keep: The Eye in Netherstorm.

Both vial remnants are required to complete The Vials of Eternity. Once both items are collected, return to Soridormi inside the Caverns of Time to complete the quest and unlock access to Hyjal Summit.

Scale of the Sands Rewards and Tier 6 Vendor

Completing the Hyjal Summit attunement quest rewards players with 3000 reputation with The Scale of the Sands, the primary reputation faction associated with the Battle for Mount Hyjal raid.

After turning in The Vials of Eternity, Soridormi will also offer a follow-up quest that rewards players with a selectable Ring of the Eternal Champion. Similar to the Violet Eye reputation rewards from Karazhan, this ring can be upgraded as your reputation with The Scale of the Sands increases through Honored, Revered, and Exalted.

Players can also find Tydormu outside the entrance to Hyjal Summit in the Caverns of Time. Tydormu serves as the Tier 6 armor vendor, allowing players to exchange Tier 6 raid tokens obtained from bosses in Hyjal Summit and Black Temple for powerful class set pieces.

In Hyjal Summit specifically, Azgalor drops Tier 6 glove tokens, while Archmionde drops Tier 6 helm tokens.
