Mote of Air Farming Guide
This Mote of Air farming guide shows the best routes and locations for farming Mote of Air in TBC Classic. Combine 10 Motes of Air to create Primal Air.
Best Mote of Air Farming Routes
The best place to farm Mote of Air is from Enraged Air Spirits in Shadowmoon Valley. The Nagrand Elemental Plateau is another strong option, especially when competition is low. Engineers can also farm Mote of Air from Windy Clouds in Nagrand using the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor.
Farming Mote of Air in Shadowmoon Valley
Enraged Air Spirits in Shadowmoon Valley are one of the best sources of Mote of Air. The mobs are a bit spread apart in some areas, but the respawn rate is fast enough that you usually do not have to wait long for respawns, depending on how many other players are farming there.
Farming Mote of Air in Nagrand
The Elemental Plateau in Nagrand is also a great place to farm Mote of Air. The respawn rate is slower than the Shadowmoon Valley route, so you may have to wait for respawns if there is a lot of competition.
Using the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor
Engineers can use a Zapthrottle Mote Extractor to extract Mote of Air from Windy Clouds in Nagrand. Each extraction usually gives 2-5 motes, making this a strong farming method for Engineers with Epic flying.
Engineering goggles such as Ultra-Spectropic Detection Goggles or Deathblow X11 Goggles allow you to see gas clouds on your minimap. The goggles are not required, but they make cloud farming much easier.
