Khorium Ore Farming Guide
This Khorium Ore farming guide shows the best routes and methods for farming Khorium Ore in TBC Classic. Khorium is a rare Outland ore that can spawn in place of Fel Iron or Adamantite nodes, so efficient farming depends on clearing as many mining nodes as possible.
Best Khorium Ore Farming Routes
Nagrand and Netherstorm are two of the best open-world zones for farming Khorium Ore. Khorium Veins are rare spawns that can replace Fel Iron or Adamantite nodes, so the best strategy is to mine every node you see and force new respawns.
Unlike regular ore farming, you should not skip Fel Iron or Adamantite while farming Khorium. If the base nodes are not cleared, new Khorium Veins will not have a chance to appear.
Farming Khorium Ore in Nagrand
Nagrand is one of the best zones for Khorium farming because of its strong overall mining node density. Follow the outer edges, rocky boundaries, and cave areas while clearing every Fel Iron and Adamantite node you find.
The key to this route is patience and node turnover. Khorium is not guaranteed, but consistently clearing base nodes gives new Khorium Veins more chances to spawn.
Farming Khorium Ore in Netherstorm
Netherstorm is another excellent Khorium farming zone, especially because of its high number of Adamantite and Fel Iron node locations. Circle the zone while checking cliffs, edges, ruins, and cave entrances.
Netherstorm can be more dangerous than Nagrand due to higher-level mobs and larger cave areas, but it is still one of the best choices for players farming Khorium Ore in the open world.
Khorium Ore Instance Farming Method
If open-world farming is too competitive, you can also farm Khorium Ore by repeatedly checking Outland dungeons for mining nodes. This removes competition from other players and gives you a controlled way to check for possible Khorium Veins.
The best instance options are The Slave Pens and The Steamvault in Coilfang Reservoir. Enter the instance, check the nearby mining node locations, leave, reset the instance, and repeat until you reach the dungeon lockout limit.
This method is especially useful when Nagrand or Netherstorm are crowded with other miners. Just remember that Khorium is still a rare spawn, so resets may not always produce a Khorium Vein.
